Aquamarine!

Had a wonderful breakfast sharing time meeting Karen of Aquamarine's blip site. She is an amazing woman--blipper and artist who just very recently returned from a trip to Egypt. Getting to hear first hand from her about the revolution was great and to have had Hosni Mubarak step down today was a celebration for us both! After sharing a bit of personal herstories I got to see some creative books she hand makes using her photographs and painting talents. They are incredible and I may get to even learn to do them.

Here she is holding up one of her books that opens showing one picture of rowing going all the way across the page so it looks as though it is one very very long boat with many rowers. She is full of talent and ideas and I very much enjoyed our get together. Thanks for breakfast K! I look forward to more get togethers:
