What's this called?
This twin-peaked summit is to the west of the Sana as you look across from the Motte. I think it's the Rocher du Col but I'm not sure.
The south facing slopes above Tignes are losing snow fast and several areas are now bare. As more rock and earth is uncovered and is warmed by the sun, so more snow melts away at an ever increasing rate. It's like looking at a virus spreading, but in reverse. When is the point of no return? One forecast website has around 12cm falling in the middle of next week. Give me ten times that please.
