The Beach

After a late night at a birthday bash last night, we thought a leisurely day at the beach was in order. The beach we went to was much nicer than the one we went to last week, infact I'd even go as far as to say that it was very picturesque, not something you can often say about the Qatari landscape.

On the way back we witnessed one of the numerous traffic accidents that occur over here. A Land Cruiser took a bend too fast and ended up rolling over into a ditch, luckily no one was hurt, and as the car had landed conveniently on it's wheels, the owner simply reversed out of the ditch and carried on with his journey, totally unfased.

Off on a dhow boat trip into the bay area tomorrow for a BBQ and jet skiing in the sun.
