Con Carne.
Coming in from the shops to a house full of the smell of freshly-made chilli is a sublime experience, such a rich and luscious aroma that immediately finds an echo in the stomach.
After reading an article on Doug Drexler's blog featuring a chilli recipe used in an episode of Enterprise, I thought I would eschew my usual chilli that is based upon an original recipe of my Father's and try the one Mr. Drexler suggested therein.
Sadly, it will be a couple of hours before we finally get to tuck in - and patience is not really my strong suit!
