Rotten Expectations

So for the past week it has been DISGUSTINGLY hot and humid. Temperatures got up to 42 degrees Celsius. No amount of fans, air conditioning, ice-creams, showers or beaches helped.

My dad brought some mangoes home and we were really looking forward to it since it?s the perfect fruit to eat during the heat. Also since the Queensland floods which wiped out most of the crops, we may not be able to afford mangoes for a while :(

So anyway the whole family got excited so we cut it up with great expectations and....they were rotten.

We were only able to eat 3 of the 10 mangoes we had.

Great disappointment but we lapped up what we could, like dogs.

So here is a shot of the great disappointment.
