We received The Professor's FIRST official book contract today, from Oxford University Press. Woot woot - exciting!

And thanks FedEx man, for opening the storm door to drop the package and then letting it slam shut. Unfortunately making me jump a foot and a half while sitting in the living room did not immediately put me into labor, but it was a good effort.
