My gang took part in a gala today.

We saw triumph and defeat.

We saw bravery, panic and wardrobe malfunctions. And lots of bravado. And laughter.

And I saw why I am lucky to have a job, especially this job.

Might I just say to you all- despite the cuts, the shit and the lack of Banker type wages- only if you fancy it, mind- Be a teacher. It can save your soul. And you might just save a few along the way.

That and hedonistic rock and roll. Of course.

Unapologetic for the holidays.

And Proud.
