My CD Collection

Most of my music collection is now in MP3 format, and my CD collection is now very static. Whenever I look over my collection I am flooded with memories of the past. This is a small collection of CDs which I was particularly fond of and carry the most vivid memories of chapters in my life.

I find it a little sad how music habits have changed over the years. Going to a music shop and buying a new CD was always very exciting. I'd get it home and play it from start to finish over and over again until I was familiar with the whole album. Downloading tracks doesn't have the same appeal to me - it's great having instant access to download your favourite tracks however it doesn't allow you to build the depth of relationship you could with a CD.

I mentioned in a previous blip that I have a particular love of the Beatles; you will notice that there are no Beatles albums in this blip - this is because they are all currently in my car!
