Les Faux d'Inverurie

This remarkable twisted tree in the garden of the Big House beside Kellands Park seems clearly to have been grown from a seed or a cutting of one of les Faux de Verzy growing in the Foret de Verzy to the south of Rheims in France.

I would be interested to learn more of its history, and how it came to be growing here in Scotland.
