Funny but my memory says that Robert Peel took the Bow Street Runners and turned them into a Police Force. Dressed in blue to distinguish them from the army, and thereafter known as Bobbies or Peelers (amongst other things). I didn't know he was into floral prints and paisley patterns.

Brings a new perspective to the subject.

I have a plan for tomorrow that may not fit a camera, but we will see.

Edit Sir Robert Peel was born 1788, so it might have been his Grand Father.
