A house sparrow saved my life

Okay, a slight exaggeration, but wanting to make sure i could continue my blip challenge but really wanting a day at home, the arrival of this little beauty was just what I needed. They are not such a regular visitor, and this was was the first one seen here in 2011. I took it as a sign and grabbed my camera. 2 more arrived later. I've had a lovely relaxing day.
