Nine Blippers at the Mosque
With the admonition not to embarrass him, D77 and I made our way to the Mosque today, separately but together, to meet up with fellow blippers.
Nine of us, huddled in coats and hats, but with much merriment, especially concerning Dotty's Brian who was being expertly put together by the Bremner/ TractorFactory duo.
At the finish, we said bon voyage to SanIam who is flying back to Arizona for surgery early next week. Hopefully she will return in May with two working shoulders.
In order to get to the Mosque in time, His Lordship and I left Ballater in the dark and saw a beautiful sunrise as we drove towards Stonehaven.
We had a clear blue sky all the way home, and the countryside sparkled in the sunshine.
There was still a lot of snow on the hills around Perth, but otherwise the farmers had been busy ploughing fields ready for planting, and they lay a deep rich brown against the snow line.
So we're home again with mail and washing awaiting, but it's looking quite springlike outside and I do believe I see my first solitary snowdrop appearing from its pot.
