Alf

I went to Winchester today to see a lady about some bones (as you do) and it occurred to me that, as I will be popping over there from time to time for the next few years, I may as well do an occasional series of Winchester Blips. So, starting with the obvious one, here's King Alfred the Great in the pouring rain at lunchtime today.

My family tree apparently goes back to our Alfred and I have burnt a fair few cakes in my time, so it seems pretty plausible.
