Chinese takeaway in the gardens

Lovely night for a walk through the botanical gardens, people everywhere enjoying the perfect day that we have today. Lots of people just lazing about, Im so jealous as I only have a half hour break before its back to work and I would love to just lie down under a tree and be at peace with the environment for a while. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted these two....

They got me thinking.....

The gardens are about 100m from home and I dont think, in all the years we have lived there, that we have ever done what these two are doing, get a takeaway and relax in the natural environment.
Why is this?
Why is it that we take things that are at out doorstep so much for granted?

Im going to try and not do this as much, chow mein in the gardens anyone?
