For some reason my iPod's been having problems playing some of my tunes, specifically Daft Punk's Homework. The mp3s work fine on everything else, but most tracks just stop within just 30sec on my iPod. So I'm re-ripping the album to get fresh files.

I remember listening to Transmissions on WHFS 99.1 radio in Washington DC with my friend Mike when we were just 15 years old. It was a rock radio station that's since gone Espanol and used to play electronic music only on Saturday nights for 3 hours. We'd hear "Around the World" every week and we never found out who the artist was. But we loved the song....man it was so cool.

When I found out it was this crazy French duo named Daft Punk, I went out and bought my first electronic-music CD. It's a 14 year old album now, but I still love it. Revolution 909 is a bangin' tune to drive to. CDs may be useless now, but I'll never get rid of this one.
