Sittin' pretty

Katie got up at 3.30 for a feed, fell back to sleep til 5, then woke again wanting more. I thought that would be it. To my pleasant surprise, she then lay beside me in the bed and went back to sleep again until 7.

We went to tea and toast again. On the way, she walked there. She waved at every person we passed who looked at her. She stood at the window of the coffee shop near us and waved at a random couple sat inside it. Getting there took a while! It reached not far off 11 and Katie went to get her coat and stood at the door to go home! "been there, done that, had fun, take me away, please"

She's getting really good at saying please at the moment. She was watching a video that has a cat bit on which she loves. She'd pressed fast forward, and it reached the cat bit. She couldnt remember which button to make it play and started shouting "cat, please, please, mama".

She had a good sleep and some lunch before we went out for a walk. Yet more dogs and cats and grannies for her to grin at as always. We went to see her little friend Jack, it was his birthday yesterday so the children had lots of new toys to explore. She had a nice play with him but was a bit sensitive and delicate before long. She went very rosy cheeked again, so I calpol-ed her up and brought her home.
