Cooing Dove

I know ~ the technical name of this bird is Mourning Dove, but I don't like to think of anything mourning. I prefer Cooing Dove because of the sound they make ~ cooo-cooo-coo. We are very fortunate to have all manner of birds that come to feed with us and this is just one of them. Although not the most colorful, still quite lovely. We have several pairs of these Cooing Doves, which I understand mate for life.
