The River Severn in glorious fullness.
The river peaked around 3.00 am this morning, and I was there bright and early to catch the low sun. The defences have been erected the full length of the town, and keeping the residents' homes free of water. The level is falling now, so no more images like this until the next time North Wales gets a heavy downpour and England catches up with it a few days later.
