Tianjin Style Soup

Another wonderful vacation day today. We went to a huge market. All the usual CHinese knick knacks but along the way there were of few of these guys selling soup. The ingredients went in a bowl and then they poured in boiling water from these huge kettles.. Very cool.. I had a little but didn't like it but Terri said it was really good.

Food and friends, has been a recurring theme on this vacation and tonight we went to an all you can eat Korean Bar-b-que restaurant with some of Terri's classmates form university. They were really nice people and we and a great time.

At this restaurant, bar-b-que means there was a small pit of hot burning coals int he middle of the table with a hot plate over the top and we cooked the food at the table. FANTASTIC meal.
