today we visited a local cathedral dedicated to the virgin mary. here, outside the back door, are plaques asking miracles of the virgin.

in other news, for the weekly family Sunday lunch, we ate the stomach, intestines, heart, todo of pig. together with potato in a sort of soup. considering i knew what it was ahead of time, i was rather surprised at how easy it was to eat! not to say it was delicious, but not as horrible as one might imagine.
