Motorway at sunset

This is the M80 from Myothill Road at around 5:40pm. Going south from here you are just about to hit roadworks which have been ongoing for about three years and still have about 6 months to go.

It is almost guaranteed every day that this area will get a mention on the traffic reports with a lorry stuck at Castlecary Arches or a lane closed at Auchenkilns.

My colleague from Glasgow direction now knows every possible single track road across this area so she can get across country in the morning avoiding traffic jams.
