Spirit

This guy resides in the lodge beside us. He keeps on escaping, much to the dismay of his owner and the local farmers. I like him a lot, he is a very independent spirit, sometimes you can rub his mane and sometimes not.

It was a toss up between a colour and b/w image, this one got the nod as it seems to express his character.

During the Summer we move him into our garden and let him munch away. He keeps the verge beside a clump of trees under control and produces lots of manure. We got a great crop pf Leitrim Red cooking apples last August.
