St Michael's Abbey

Farnborough is a pretty dull, boring town with not much going on and not much to look at. But there are a few pretty bits and this is one of them. The Abbey is home to monks of the Benedictine Order and I think a lot of people who live in the area don't even know they exist. The Abbey is well hidden and can be seen from only a few places.
As it was a glorious sunny morning I took the camera on the school run and we took a short detour on the way home to take a few photos and see the sheep and chickens in the Abbey's farm (you can't go in but can see them from the path).
