INSPIRATION

Many years ago I read a book (photographed here) which changed the course of my life.

Alexander Mackenzie - a fellow Scot - became the first European to cross the entire N. American continent arriving at Bella Coola in northern BC Canada on July 22 1793

Two hundred years later to the day after a three month journey following his letters and maps - via the Arctic - I arrived at his destination.
