Dog lovers!!

Its thanks to this man, James Spratt that Dog Food was first developed in the
1800s. He was an American who came to this country and started
in the business of producing food cakes specially formulated
for dogs.
The firm continued through to the 1950s and then became part
of Central Mills until Spillers bought it out in the 60s. As a dog
owner you may still be feeding your dogs on the modern version
which is now "Bonio"

The sign is dated at around the 30s and is quite a rarity in this colour.
