Mt Herbet

You might have seen I cycled up Mt Herbet in the weekend, here it is from the top of Raupaki Track, it doesn't look that bad! Raupaki is 330 metres at the top, Mt Herbet 917. Doesn't look that much bigger, but my muscles tell me it is.

Good productive day at work today and then Jonathan and I headed out on the first after work ride for the year. Both serious about getting fitter and training, so Tuesdays and Thursdays after work are the chosen days. Basically means that instead of riding home along the flats I loop up "the long way" via the top of the hills. Nice 300m climb. Satisfying.

And such a lovely evening to be up the top of the Port Hills!
