There's Usually a Solution

This is one of the doors for our basement bathroom cabinet. It was supposed to have the larger handle, to match the other doors and drawers. The problem was that there wasn't enough clearance on the side to open the door far enough to pull out the sliding trays.

The solution is the recessed pull ring. This type of handle is typically used for floor hatches in boats. Pensioner would probably call this a boaty solution.
