Sheep

I took this about a hundred metres in altitude higher up than my place. The grass is greener up there and quite a novelty after all the dry grass around here.

Beyond the foothill in the middle distance the skyline is part of the Torlesse Range, with The Gap in the centre, Rubicon Peak on the right, and Castle Hill Peak on the left.

Edit: On studying a wider version of this shot I realise that the peak on the right is not Rubicon, but another peak that stands behind it that I normally don't see. This was taken further south than I usually shoot from.
