Chinese New Year
We spent the morning at Kaiser. Gary needed to see the doctor since his fever and cough were getting worse. They heard wheezing, so he was put on a bunch of meds for possible bronchitis. They were concerned it would turn into pneumonia, so they were on top of it. He still had a bit of an appetite so we ate at "El Restaurante de Kaiser". They served breakfast burritos. :)
This blip photo is of Landon at the school's Chinese New Year Parade today. They walk down the halls with the 'lanterns' they made as well as the noisemakers (paper plates with beans in the middle) they made. Some classrooms are hidden under the dragon and sway down the halls of the school. The parade ended in Town Hall. I was told by Landon today that he made a dinner date with two girls in his class, girls who say they are going to marry him. Yes, he is in kindergarten. Yes, I'm going to have trouble on my hands when he gets older. I made sure to tell him I'm NOT giving him a ride to a dinner date and reminded him that he is FIIIIIIVE years old!
The rest of my afternoon was spent running errands and planning/shopping for the Superbowl foods I'm going to prepare. How exciting, huh? If I had the money, I would have a personal assistant who would do my grocery shopping....it truly is a chore I'm not fond of.
