Orions Belt
I have never tried to photograph stars so as it was a lovely clear night I had a go tonight.
Since I was a teenager I have always been familiar with Orion, he is the constellation you see in the British summer while falling asleep on the sand dunes after a BBQ and a few beers.
This is Orion's belt (the 3 stars at the top) and the sword (the stars on the bottom left). Its interesting that after a bit of lightening in Photoshop, there are a lot more stars in the photo than I saw with the naked eye.
Its no Hubble I admit but its a start.
