Shut The Door AndCover Me
I endured a MAJOR shopping session with some lovely lovely friends on Saturday - normally hours spent shopping is my idea of hell, I'm something of a stealth shopper, in, out, you'd never know I'd been - but this was SERIOUS. I'd said I'd meet up with them but I'd planned on going 'first thing' - 'fine, that's good, meet you at eleven'. 11am? I'm usually back in the house by half ten. How does 11am equal first thing in anyone's book? Amy Winehouse's world maybe.
I'd done all of my own shopping by 11am and it was stashed in the boot before I met them but I still didn't get home until 5pm and no, miraculously, most of our shopping was not for wine as we all had our cars. Even more miraculously, despite the hours spent drifting in and out of designer emporia not a massive amount of money changed hands in the end, although plenty of items were eventually purchased, and all for the same price! Any idea what kind of shop that might have been in???
I took them into that very special shop and they went on a feeding frenzy ... 'look at this, how much is it??' 'er, it's a pound' ... 'this is great, how much is this one' 'er, have a guess' ... gets a little tiresome in the end.
Anyway, I bought this nice little netbook cover for when its time for bed. Guess how much?
