we didn't see the whole of the moon

So, tonight the moon is a very very bright crescent, and Mars is just a wee bit below it (the bright thing that looks like a star and is just dipping below the horizon now). I tried to get a good photo, I really did, but this was the best of the bunch. It's granularity could be said to be a feature, but I'd have preferred it to have been clearer. :o(
