two rivers collide

this area floods quite often but never normally as bad as this. the nearest river from where my photo was taken is a mile and half away. its normaly miles and miles of fields,hedges and trees!!..
at aprox 2 miles away is where the river Severn meets the river Vyrnwy (souns- vernway) and thats where the rivers burst their banks .
i could hardly keep to my feet due to the wind being so strong. i hid behind a farm wall to take the pic with the edge of the flood about 5 feet away. my camera action was force myself around the corner into the wind and thrust my arms at full length forward then take a snap and dive behind the wall again.. must have looked funny from the outside looking in?
