Bike Scene

another repeat title, i feel its more appropriate for this one.

its about 9am right now,
making this one of my earliest blips ever.
(LOOK! DAYLIGHT! a rare thing in my album lately..)
much earlier than yesterday's blip,
which was taken rather late-
and actually just posted a few hours ago.

i've been up pretty much all night.
i kept wanting to do SOMETHING,
but options are limited at 4am.
i finally talked myself into going on a bike ride,
only to realize some of the logistics of it:

-my bike does not have a light
-only a small stretch of the path is lit

so i decided to nap until a later time to ride.
i napped from about 5am til 6:30am
(yes! i actually fell asleep that early!),
then packed up,
adjusted one of the brakes a bit,
and headed out.

i only rode a few miles,
but didnt want to do anything too exhausting
and still have to make my way back.
the ride away from town took longer than the return,
because i kept stopping to take pictures of the sunrise.

however, this particular picture was taken on the return visit,
when i was almost back to the apartment.
i kept hoping the sun would peek out over the hill,
but it just kept creeping up at a diagnal,
staying behind the hill.

i was only gone about an hour,
but it felt good.
will probably try to find gloves for next time.

now i just have to follow the plan and stay awake
for the rest of the day.
i have a production meeting tonight for
Color Incorporated,
a short film that i will be working on in February.
