Sitting, Waiting, Wishing....

Popped out in search of a good photo when the snow stopped this afternoon and found this handsome fellow (felt a bit sorry for his cold feet and lack of fish). Had an empty battery but thankfully my camera sensed my need and continued to function while I snapped away. Took lots of lovely, conventional heron photos but couldn't resist posting this one as it's a little bit different....and news to me that a heron's neck isn't plain grey!
