Cocktail anyone?

In the midst of a nation wide uprising against President Mubarak of Egypt our Boab (doorman) felt the best way to protect his property from potential loots was a petrol bomb.

I'm not sure that would be the best tool to stop people stealing but each to their own. Egypt seems to getting more and more heated. the president refuses to leave office, relations between the army and the protesters is becoming more tense and there are calls for a million man march in Cairo.

We decided that life in Maadi is just a little too close the riots and we will leave for school tomorrow. A bit safer and a lot closer to the airport.

Sad times in the country I've lived in for the 2 and a half years.
