How Do I Explain This one.....

I'm quite a clumsy person - or rather I should say accident-prone. If anyone is likely to have an accident of some sort, particularly in bizarre circumstances, it will be me.

So here is a blip of my latest injury. It happened on Friday night while we were having a braai. A couple of the guys brought over a tumble dryer drum to use as a BBQ. They filled it with charcoal and we cooked a chicken in it. As I walked past it, I tripped and my leg brushed against it - OUCH!

Having had a beer already, I was a wee bit tipsy but I did run the burn under cold water for a while but insisted all night that 'it would be fine'. On Saturday morning, it was obvious that it was quite a bad burn so a wee visit to the local clinic was made and the lovely nurse there gave my advice on how to treat it.

So here it is - being treated!
