Sunday in Evesham

Went into Evesham for a coffee and mooch round and as always now, spent time looking for possible blips. There are lots of old and picturesque buildings in Evesham, I always forget what an old town it is.

This is the market square in Evesham, it has a lot of the timber framed black and white buildings. When the market is on, it's really bustling and noisy and I once saw a group of Morris dancers here.

Today though the town was very quiet. Not many of the shops open on Sunday now, and there are lots of empty shops too which is sad.

We did go into the small independent record store (well, cd and dvd store I suppose you'd call it now) - Rapture It was the busiest shop we went in, which was very good to see. We bought a couple of cds and had another artist recommendation from the girl on the till - so we're going to shop here a bit more often and try and help a local store keep going.
