Palette

Visited my cousin's studio this evening. He is doing some very strong work, from photos he's taken of neglected woodland: clogged ditches, ivied trees etc. His studio takes up the whole of a small two story house he bought a few years ago: paintings EVERYWHERE, the floor and walls spattered and smeared, canvasses in the toilet, all testament to his envious determination, the drive to create by means of work work work...
