Historic Newark

Today we went to have lunch with our friends Chris and Lisa. We get on really well and we all love the great outdoors so have been planning a camping and walking weekend in the Lake District. We were also discussing their forthcoming wedding as I Will be their wedding photographer .

Today's blip comes from the Newark Market Square, it is a picture of the Butter Market which is now an indoor shopping centre. This building has been used commercially since 1798 when the Buttermarket site behind the town hall was used as Newark's meat market . Hence my choice of post processing.

I took this with my HTC Wildfire android phone and post processed it, I'm pleased with the result but having seen it I'm surprised it was approved
