Bars that look like art galleries aren't usually for thirsty Jarvises - unless, as is the case with El Aguardiente in Lavapies in Madrid, they are as rowdy and unpretentious as a sailor's bar in Leith when the Polish navy is town, with prompt service and entirely reasonable prices.
