Strathaven Castle
Not much in the way of photo opportunities today, as I spent most of the day driving up to Scotland for some work tomorrow. I hoped to stop somewhere en route, but the weather wasn't helping till I got close to my destination. I saw the ruins of Strathaven Castle and parked up for a few photos. By then the light was failing so I wasn't optimistic of a good result.
There was so much contrast between the overcast sky and the very dark stone that I had to do some PP to get something half reasonable. Photomatix did a much better job than I was expecting. Hopefully tomorrow in better light I'll get some better shots.
