The perfect spot.

This could arguably be the worse place in Britain to have a picnic table. I've never noticed it before but with the undergrowth dying back it has been revealed in all its glory. It's situated alongside a busy road, 3 lanes each way, so the positioning isn't the best and why anybody would put it there is a mystery.

By way of contrast there is a beautiful Victorian park less than a mile away which has just been awarded a Green Flag Award.
