An accidental blip

Today the plan was to take some long exposure shots to catch the movement of the sea. But that went wrong. Very wrong. Looks like the F-stop of the lens doesn't go high enough, I hadn't set the exposure correctly, and Ewan had decided that he was generally going to keep running as far away as possible thus giving me very little chances at all at taking some proper shots.

Then, when I got home (and once again swore at the SD card reader in my laptop, which appears to have stopped working so having to connect the camera up instead) I discovered just how badly I need to clean the lens!

I made myself feel a bit better by having a good ol' play around with this shot, and I'll be completely honest I accidentally came up with this one from tweaking exposure, white balance, contrast and brightness. Sorry for all the mess on the lens though :(

At least it's a new take on the usual seascapes!

I've also decided that I'm going to start joining in with Sub Sunday, and for today's I'm going to pick HERE/If You Could See Me Now because I love Kirsty's journal particularly some of her most bright, colourful and original shots! I wish I'd discovered her journal earlier :)
