Horrible windy grey weather in Birmingham, possibly, the whole of the UK. A blustery day to walk about but walk about we did, although strengthened by a cream tea at Winterbourne Gardens after a wander round the Barber Institute looking at paintings by Bruegel, Magritte, Gaugin, Rembrandt, and many other lesser knowns, as well as their 'Sacred and Profane' exhibition. Two great activities in one day, and not a penny in cost.
