flight is an amazing priviledge of the 20th century even with its so called environmental risks (which are not too bad when you consider that deforestation of the amazon rainforest contributes 30% of all co2 emissions)

although the airlines like nothing better than to get as much buck out of you as possible whether its putting a bag in the hold, travel insurance, carbon footprint or speedy boarding- the other enjoys hopping on a plane and ending up somewhere else pretty quickly considering how long it would take to walk.
