air of desperation

You know how it is: You get home, have a look on the LCD (if you've taken the camera with you which, as a good blipper, you always should!) and realise that the picture of the building site is rubbish. As is the shot of the old sign - and the man up a ladder - and the woman riding by on her bike... So you wander around the house looking for something to take a picture of.
And lo, another desperate picture appears on the internet.
