Date Night

Kids were packed off to Grandparents in Arbroath at lunchtime today, so Mrs P and I could go out on a "date" tonight. Early birthday night out for me, as I'll be away on business when its my actual birthday. First time we've been able to get a "baby sitter" in a very long time!

Took some blips in Arbroath after we had dropped off the kids, but I was pretty rushed as Mrs P was sitting in the car waiting and they didn't turn out too great. Her view was "You can go and freeze your b***s off if you want, but there's no way I'm going out there and freezing my t**s off". Classy chick has a way with words!

Tonight we went out to Nahm Jim Thai restaurant in St Andrews. It was a finalist on Gordon Ramsay's Best Restaurant show. Apart from the waiter forgetting about Mrs P's starter (then quickly spotting it hadn't arrived and sorting it out before we called him over), we had an excellent night. The food was great, the waiter was very attentive, the place itself was nice, and it wasnt very expensive either.

Afterwards, took a quick trip down to the harbour and took this shot. Nice bit of reflection at the end of a great day.
