Struggling through

I went for a walk this afternoon and took my camera. Nothing! So I took this hellebore in my garden instead.

They have been struggling through the earth for the past couple of weeks and have at long last started to open. This white one is the earliest but the darker ones are just as beautiful once they arrive.
