Plugging Away

Mmmmmm.....

Came over a bit Nigella today, and made these drop-scones for breakfast.

First the batter was a bit too thick, then the griddle was a bit too hot, but finally they were rolling off the production line in fine shape, and were eaten pretty soon after that.

Welsh cakes tomorrow. It's a promise!

Today was a rich Blip-opportunity day, with a Chinese dragon and drummers in the library (shhh!) and a display of owls in the market place, a jazz band, and a few other entertaining sights, but the scene of domestic bliss (I cropped!) wins today.

Now, will someone pour me a glass of wine, to blur the edges of my self-satisfied Saturday night?
